Pegaso Telematic University offers a network channel through technological poles called E-learning Center Point.
The remote teaching model offers a new way to communicate through an use without space-time ties.
In the didactic platform Pegaso Telematic University ( called PegasoOnline ) the students, each of them divided for degree form and course, are identified with user and id; the same platform is personalized for each student according to his own plan of studies by arranging specific teaching materials, practice works, attendance and tutor.
In order to meet local needs that the work’s, school’s, university’s and profession’s market generally requires, it has created some centres distributed over all the national territory in order to favour a perfect congruence between university demand and supply.
Pegaso Telematic University has started through a careful analysis a proposal of collaboration with local authorities, schools and firms in order to integrate at his best the individual’s training and optimize in the same way once finished his own course of studies, his working and social insertion in his own contest.
WHAT ARE THE ECP ( E-LEARNING CENTER POINT )?
The ECPs are points that distribute knowledge and make easier learning.
In these points it’s possible to benefit from the remote courses, to put forward some requests, to be directed towards the course of studied chosen, to be advised about the means of payment.
The e-learning points are spaces endowed with self learning assisted, freely available, where the individual , with his needs, competences, expectations and motivations, becomes the first subject of the supply and the formative intervention; he, opportunely assisted and oriented, becomes the direct protagonist, once that the learning objectives and the choice of his own formative course have been defined.
THE ADVANTAGES OF THE USERS
Within the ECP structure there is:
possibility to use advanced multimedia information instruments;
supply of hardware instruments useful for the course;
coding of professional profiles and competence maps that allow improving the survey and the definition of the real formative needs.
WHAT ARE THE ECPs?
The ECPs will be subdivided into three channels, each of them, highly qualified, according to objective criteria beforehand found by Pegaso Telematic University.
The EPC Academy are centres accredited and supplied with references by the Telematic University in support of, as it has been previously described, the students benefiting from Pegaso platform on line, who have signed an ECP contract.
The three typologies are:
Academy Channel: they are State and Private Secondary Schools,
Government Channel: they are municipalities, authorities and associations;
Commercial Channel: they are companies, trading authorities and firms having VAT number.
